February is most often the month we seem to come into balance after the buzzy rush of the new year. I'm not sure about you, but this February for me seems to be Fog-Clearing Month. Focus Month. (and also, reminder/did you know...it's home to Random Act of Kindness Day?!) One of my personal favorite made up holidays...so remember to pay it forward on the 17th and do something unexpectedly kind, or well, really any day, because if it's a random act of kindness, can't it be done, um....randomly, any day?)
I feel like January of 2022 was as much of a frenzied blur as most of 2021, and regardless of my relationship status, (single or partnered, or "it's complicated", lol...that last one is one I whole-heartedly do not allow into my world!) I will always, always be a fan of the big L-O-V-E. I adore love energy. I'm an advocate of radiating love as we walk through life. We all know it when we encounter it...soft, comforting, soothing...it makes us feel warm and fuzzy when it's given to us, right? I do not adore the commercialization of literally THE most powerful of human emotions, so I often celebrate love in my own way, and it seems many others do the same. Texts to thank your people who embody loving energy. Calls to tell far away loved ones we love them, no matter where in the world they are. Romance (while nice) not required if your intent is to offer loving energy. Whether it is directed at someone in your life or directed inward at self, I encourage you to take a moment to express some extra love this month. And, receive some extra love! I want to share with YOU what was in my heart this week regarding love and self-care (and may it resonate with your heart.)
And hey, since the word February comes from the Roman festival of purification called Februa, during which people were ritually washed, maybe it's a good time to establish a small purification ritual of your own. Maybe a decadent mineral salt bath to wash away anything that does not serve your heart and start tomorrow anew! Read, meditate, get outside...anything that soothes your soul. It's also a good time to check in with your physical space...could your home do with some cobweb sweeping, clutter reduction or a full on Feng Shui makeover? The idea isn't that we must scrub away something within us that needs "fixed"...it's more about creating spaces within and around us that we love. #perfectlyimperfect If your body/mind/spirit/home doesn't offer you peace, solace or joy, definitely feel into one thing you could to do purify, cleanse or clear the space so it's more enjoyable to you.
If you're feeling a particular interest in clearing and cleansing, please check over on the packages page...I am offering a special Energy Reset & Release Session...just this month, so grab a spot (or a 2-session pack) and I'll see you soon, love.
